The telltale signs of a bad alternator, but... 200

Warning...soapbox item:

The ground wire can fail in many invisible ways. Uninstall it, pull on both ring connectors...hard. Clean the chassis side connection point well and add a star washer between the connector and the chassis.

Most of them fail where there is corrosion between the crimp and the wire on the chassis end from a combination of oil fouling, vibration and salt water. Often it looks perfect but you can pull the wire from the crimp so it makes contact until you give some gas and the engine rocks...obviously, I know from painful experience (3 months travelling with a spare fully charged battery in one case) on two different cars.
