driveshaft 'clocking' 200 1989

My way of explaining the clocking of the driveshafts---the very first yoke (attached to the transmission) should be at 90 degrees from the very last yoke (attached to the diff) so that they would form one complete u-joint if joined together. Of course that leaves two possible solutions so if there are no marks it would necessary to try one and then the other if the first try didn't work out. It is my understanding that this method should work no matter how many driveshaft sections there are (many trucks have three sections). -- Dave
