Static drain fuse #8 200 1989

Between posts on this forum with bona-fide happy endings and my own experience, the fuse #8 battery drain likelihood order runs like this:

#1,#2,#3: silicone rubber insulation fell off the wiring to the key lock or button lock switches in the door for the central locking. No need to go into the center vent panel to diagnose, just simply disconnect the switch wiring above your left knee.

#4: Dome light delay relay. Heated bimetal switch.

Distant #5: trunk, hood, glove box light. Pretty easy to eliminate I guess.
