Mike,
Overpressure in the coolant indicates a breach in the head gasket allowing combustion chamber gases into the coolant. If you allow it to continue, you'll be replacing the heater core as well - tougher than a head gasket job. The appearance of the oil in the photo tells me too much coolant is getting into it.
You may have a misfire on a cold start?
So the head should be removed, and the gasket inspected carefully. If there is a split in one of the fire rings, that's a good sign, as the head is probably ok. You must still check the head carefully for a crack in the one of the chambers, or corrosion causing the leak.
I'd advise to stop driving it and remove the head.
