o2 sensors can cause any number of troubles that do not appear at first to trace back to the sensor.
since this sensor is only one of just a few data inputs that the ecu uses to set fuel trim its importance is often overlooked.
the coolant sensor, idle air control valve, and a few others.
since you can buy a bosch sensor and wire it in to the extant harness for 40 dollars i normally just replace them after 50k miles anyway. how quickly at 4.90 a gallon will you make up the cost if you're mpg goes up 5-10?
