940 230FD with bad mileage - flaky/tired 02 sensor?? 900 1995

o2 sensors can cause any number of troubles that do not appear at first to trace back to the sensor.

since this sensor is only one of just a few data inputs that the ecu uses to set fuel trim its importance is often overlooked.

the coolant sensor, idle air control valve, and a few others.

since you can buy a bosch sensor and wire it in to the extant harness for 40 dollars i normally just replace them after 50k miles anyway. how quickly at 4.90 a gallon will you make up the cost if you're mpg goes up 5-10?
