Frustration - Somebody please remind me why I drive a 240 200

I think these things come in waves. You fix a bunch of little stuff, drive fine for awhile...Then find something wrong and start looking for more things to fix.

Overall I think doing your own maintenance on a 240 ends up being one of the most affordable ways to have a good working vehicle.

Most of us have been at that point of "Why keep putting work/money into the car?" But then you fix it, go for a drive and know why.

One corner I have cut is to not always get OE or shop at Tasca. Most of the time FCP parts do the trick just fine.

Oh, and cars from this millennium? Instead of the programed obsolescence of engines disintegrating like in the 70's we now have cars that only a factory certified dealer can work on, crazy complicated onboard computers/electronics and expensive replacement parts only available to factory techs; i.e cars designed so that that owners cannot work on them. ???
