Volvo 122S B18 Service after 10 years 120-130 1969

Hello,

In the past 2 months, 2 different customers have brought us a 122 sedan and a 122 wagon that had been in storage for a long period of time, 1 for over 10 years the other almost 10 years.

In both cases the cars needed a battery, TIRES, fuel tank draining and cleaning/ReNu coating, carburetor float bowl cleaning, carburetor jet tube seals, carburetor float valves and float cover gaskets, water pump and thermostat, fuel gauge sending unit and seal, rear brake wheels cylinders, brake hoses, brake system flush, Clutch master and clutch slave cylinders, fuel hose and filter, tune up work and carburetor adjusting.

And the 1 that was stored longer also needed rebuilt front brake calipers and its brake booster bypassed. The other car had already had it booster removed and bypassed

Both cars also needed minor lighting repairs and had in/op heater fans, but both wiper motors still worked.
