1 & 2: check the OBD code section in the FAQ. (The tables for LH2.4 are the ones relevant to your car.) The system is self-contained in the car, you do not need a reader.

3: for 1992, there's a reset knob on the lower right side of the cluster. It pushes a long, angled rod on the back side that flips a little black plastic lever on the back of the cluster. Before airbags, you could reach up under the dash and flip the lever directly.
