Actually I prefer the Volvo accesory fog lamps that are offered as a kit, incl sw, relay and harness, and under bumper mount.

The Bosch lamps can be had with long pencil beam projection, but the one's Volvo now sells are a good balance between wide fog disperaion and long/wide front projection, and are excellent additional lamps, even mounted under the bumper.

As far as E-codes, I had the aftermarket DJ Auto one's. They looked nice but don't work as well as a clear set of orig plastic lenses and Sylvania Xenon Halogen's for bulbs.
