Best Driving Lamps? Watch the bulb failure sensor! 200 1990

Dear Kitty,

I'll make a mental note of that.. But, it sounds like you were dealing with something that might not apply to ALL Volvos. It sounds like your problems were someone messing with your car's lighting circuit. I probably WON'T remove the bulb failure light as I like that feature, and if I was to install a trailer light harness, I'd make sure to do it the right way.

I don't think it's good advice personally to tell people here that they "need to remove the stupid bulb failure (or bulb out) sensor." My taillights are fine, and so are the headlights. If I get a replacement bulb it won't be some crazy power drawing bulb, maybe something with a good compromise of longevity and brightness, or a bluer hue. Haven't decided yet. But I'm aware I don't have a newer car, with higher standards regarding the technology, and I'll be mindful when selecting something.

If anyone disagrees with me, that's great, I'd love to get another opinion. But I like to keep things stock unless enough people tell me otherwise.

Captain Borkenstein
