Check the Fuel pump relay and appropriate fuse (s) for your car first. renew the thermal paste on the ignition amplifier while you are at it.

In the end, if you only have issues below a 1/4 tank it is likely the pump. If it has it between a 1/2 and 1/4 it is likely the transfer hose between the pump and the fuel line. Keep in mind, this diagnosis requires complete isolation of this issue. The in tank pump seems to last 50-75K miles.
