I don't think the hellaciousness was confined to late 240s. Any 240 more like. The job is a right of passage. Its rightfully dreaded. Bensteins. Site is very helpful. However I did not find it necessary to cut the grounding wire. I used a unimotor unit from Canada. Replaced the resistor as well.
