blower motor 240/740 comment 200

You may be right.

My 1976 was so Frankenstein by the time I got it there was no way to know the mileage but it had a non-electrolux bower motor when I swapped it.

My 1979 had a 230K on non-functional odo when I got so also not a fair sample.

My 1981 came with a blown non-original motor and 140K miles (bought in 1992)

My 1990 had a 110K on it with a wailing blower motor on its last legs...never found out if it was original when I donated it to family that needed it more than I did.

The 1993 I helped with actually had a dead resistor at 75K miles so we pre-preemptively did the motor

The 1989 I helped with had the factory blower replaced at 80'ish K miles by the dealer and we were doing it again at about 150K

There were two other in there somewhere but do not remember details.
