It will take quite a while to work all the bubbles out and get full power. Jacking up the front end (or putting slippery plastic under the front wheels) and turning the steering lock-to-lock several times with the engine running helps. When the fluid is full of bubbles it's compressible and they can only dissipate in the reservoir.
