I got one once from a pharmacist dude!

I asked for one with the biggest needle he had. That way he would know I wasn’t going to use it for drugs or anything.

He gave me weird look. Then he asked, “What are you going to use it on a horse?”

I said close, the engine of my truck! He tilted his head a bit. I said it makes horsepower! He tightly closed up his lips in a smile. I'll see what I have and turned away.

A moment later, while looking it over, I explained how I wanted to shoot some RTV silicone into a 45 degree corner joint of my V8.

The intake manifold casting was leaking oil vapors out from the cam and pushrod valley underneath it.

This was in the back in front the firewall. This was just the beginning of many issues!

The silicone was harder to push out than grease but it plugged it!
