update I 200 1987

You mean to smear grease on the topside of the ball and replace the old boot?

Or is that the original grease pack under them boots?

Any ball joints for 240 come with zirks fitted? says jwalker? Maybe not?

Art has a post here calling it synovial fluid as he tore down a set of Meyle or URO ball joints. The other thread.

Synovial fluid! Priceless! I fell on the floor.

Here it is. Art's post on Ball Joint replacement.
http://cleanflametrap.com/bj.html

Shows zirks under the ball socket.

Yet here, Art replaces one brand with another:

(no zirks)

What Ball Joints for 240 comes with Zirks?

Just flippin' confooooosed.

I have a set of new Lemförder ball joints. The 1992 may need them soon, or so it feels.

Happy Sat-Your-Day MacDuff.
