Struts Slowly Lower wo Supporting TieRod and BallJoint? 200 1990

Perhaps the difference is not in the strut--as machine man has pointed out that can't change unless the gland nut is coming loose--or the upper strut mount has been loosened. Maybe the lower control arm bushings were tightened with the arms in too much of an "up" position and now that they have had plenty of time to "relax" they have reverted to the position in which they were installed? Try loosening the front pivot bolt and the stud in the rear bushing housing. You'll have to do both sides together if the sway bar is still attached. Remember to retighten them with the suspension under load so the bushings are in a "neutral" position. -- Dave
