M41 - diagnosing main shaft bearings 140-160

Was the transmission noisy before you took it apart? If it was quiet you can take the chance, but if you don't know, then I would suggest you change them.

I normally have both front and rear mainshaft bearings in stock that are made by SKF. Cost for each is around $40 a piece.
