Copper spray for head gaskets? 900 1993

I would a encourage you not to have the head resurfaced unless there is no other choice (as in, it needs material removed to be true enough to be in spec). As mentioned, even with a turbo most of our head gaskets last more than 150K miles...no NA motors, north 300K miles is pretty common. The almost never warp without significant overheating.

The problem with having it resurfaced is that you really have no idea the quality of the job you will get unless you deal with that shop on a regular basis or get a solid referral from someone that uses them. The amount material most shops will remove as a default far exceeds what the average B230F/FT needs removed (you won't get someone to re-surface without truing even the head, if it is in spec, unless you are a long time customer they trust to know what they are asking for). After that, they need to put the appropriate surface on the head to ensure proper sealing...and that is also something I just do not trust them to do right.
