I agree with the first Post. If you have no history on the car , at the very least start with a good old fashion Tune-Up. Bad wires or a crack in the cap will absolutely cause Smooth running issues in wet weather. Look at the ignition wire that runs from the top of the coil to the Cap. Sometimes they sag and the insulation wears on the Steering shaft.
Replace Plugs, Cap, Rotor and Wires. Don't get fancy with the plugs. The recommended Bosch ones are best
