She is in good shape but she's getting past the point where I want to depend on her for work and family trips.


Unfortunately, those parts at FCP don't interchange with a Denso. But if it's feasible to change out the alternator with a Bosch, future maintenance would be much easier. I just really hate being dependent on discontinued parts.

You are right, we don't drive it much at night. I'm only 5 minutes from work so I have a much "lighter" use of the car than my wife. I often drive my '98 C70, but nothing but a truck beats a 940 wagon for hauling...

I was able to find a brush and regulator kit on eBay.
