Engine temp sensor might be faulty. Does it seem rich running.?
.It controls the cold start and when faulty they sometime keep it overly rich. Also check your fuel injection pressure regulator. Pull the vacuum hose off and check for gasoline in hose. If there is gasoline then the pressure regulator is faulty..
