You should seriously consider buying a MC rebuild kit from Eric if he has them.
Carefully lay out the old parts and seals - I trust that you will see the difference between the old part and the new ones. Hone the cylinder to clean out gunk.
One caveat - when you have the MC apart, note a small bleed hole between the cylinder and the reservoir.
When the MC is back in the car and connected, this bleed hole must be over a certain part of the piston, not over one of the seals, or the brakes can hold pressure and cause issues. There is a diagram in the service manual.
