1990 240 Sedan: Fuel Line Problem: Stalling Intermittently

Make up a jumper wire with an alligator clip on each end. When the car stalls/won’t start attach the jumper from fuse 4 to fuse 6 and see if it starts/runs.

If the jumper eliminates the problem you have isolated the problem to the area between the red wire from the battery, it’s fuse, or the fuel injection relay. Be aware that the jumper will enable the pumps to run regardless of the position of the ignition key.

I like aleekat's suggestion of fuel starvation as well. Many reports of similar stalling/sputtering on turns due to a deteriorated hose on the intank fuel pump when fuel tank is less than full.
