Where are you in Texas?

Hey Mechanic -- I'm in Dallas. Where are you and how much would you charge to evacuate my 1990 240 and recharge with 134?

Sorry but I am way out in West Texas about 300 miles from you. Only thing I can suggest is get the conversion parts for r134, buy the hose and attachment for the can and fill it yourself. I bet you can go to a wrecking yard there and get it done cheap. EPA requires wrecking yards to have the vacuum machine to recover freon from wrecks before putting them out in the yard. I bet Grand Prairie along I-20? has a bunch of yards.
