After putting the manifold and carbs back on, and finding that the car started and idled nicely. After the car had warmed up completely I toko it for a nice drive and found it to be running great. Nice engine power, nice revs and all that.
I was going to drive the car to work today, but even though it started up (w/o choke on the first crank) when I got it out the street, it started to cough and stumble. Wouldn't accelerate and ran poorly at any speed above idle. Come to think of it, right after I reassembled the manifold and carbs, and when it was cold it idled okay, but ran poorly until it warmed up comepletely
I suspected that my carbs might have been out of sync, but this is rediculous.
What are the possible culprits? An over-rich mixture is about the only thing that seems possible.
Any thoughts or advice would be welcome.
