T5 in '71 142 140-160

I am interested in putting a t5 in my 142. It's a 71 E with the long-throw shifter, and my only real concern is if the transmission tunnel is tall enough. The rear shifter 140's have a taller tunnel to accomodate the shift linkage, and I'm not sure if the t5 t5 will fit in mine.
