I have completed the replacement of rear rotors, pads and left caliper on my wife's '93 940 wagon. To replace the caliper I did not loosen the end of the flex hose that attaches to the hard line since it was pretty crusty and I was afraid to break something. Instead I unscrewed the hose at the caliper only and then screwed on the new caliper onto the hose, which resulted in a slight twist in the hose. I tried several different threadings and found only two positions. I picked the one with the least amount of twist, of course, but am wondering if that's good enough. If my paranoid mind doesn't let me sleep at night because of this, what is a good safe and realtively painless way of loosening the brake hose at the far end of the caliper?
Thanks.
