Taurus or ES? 1800

Hey. New to BB - since discovering the AWD/850 section to sort out a few questions on the 97 850 wagon, I also realized I could stumble over here and get the answers to my REAL questions. I want to dump the 95 Taurus as my daily driver in favor of an 1800 ES. Pristine as it may be, life is short and well, the ES just seems like the right solution. I really want to get opinions on this. In particular: 1) How much will/should a nice rust free (or nearly) example cost? As someone who admires the design but knows little about living with one, what should I be looking for and/or avoiding? Finally, do you know anyone who might have one available at what YOU consider a reasonable price? Where should I look? What am I not asking that I need to?

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.

Dave
