More deep thinking. 200 1987

Once again I apologize for my outbursts of insults slung towards one of the members on here..I misinterpreted his/her post in response to Sven's Maintainer and this week hasn't been my week to say the least. I have severe bronchitis and I'm bedridden once again! If it isn't my knees, it's well...Something else.
Has anyone in here done a complete resto. of a 240? I think this car would be a worthy candidate of that, but it just sucks since there aren't any good Volvo mechanics in the area I live in.
This is a list of what the car will need to make it mint:
*Balljoints: The familiar CLUNK whenever I go over a bump is quite scary
*Body work: The left rear fender has a couple of nice dents and dings because some amateur tried to fix the fender themselves. Also the right rear fender wheel-well will either need to be bondoed or replaced as the previous owner hit something.
*Fuel problem: I've mentioned this stuff before and the car lopes at idle speed for about 15 seconds when I initially start her up.

I mean I know all of these problems are quite trivial in the big scheme of things...I should be happy that she runs and drives, but I really want a nice looking 244 with no rust and good paint. Should I keep her and drive her until I find a better one or restore her? I think it'd be cool to be rolling in a 1987 244 in the next 5-10 years. I know I can't believe I'm saying this but it's quite irritating to NOT have power windows, is it possible to install the power windows in this car or is it WAYYYY too much work and a total PITA? I think if I fix this car up it'd behoove me since yes, I technically will be loosing money on it since I can indeed get a "better condition" 240, but the parts (Such as a 5spd tranny which I'd love to Whadayathink? t.y.i.a.!
