Light switch 200 1983

Hello,

It seems that I have a problem with the switch that turns on the lights-its on the left side of the instrument cluster. As I have a good pic-n-pull, I would like to replace it. When I removed knob, pulled the part back to get a look, it seemed as if the wires were "hard wired" to the back of the instrument(?). Do the wires indeed pull off? Its pretty cramped in that area, so I did not get a good look at the connection.

Anyone ever replaced such a switch?
