intrument panel not working 200

Well guys, after replacing every part of the ignition system, my good ol' trusty 93 240DL started. (look at my posts quite back ago)
Now, after replacing a damaged odo gear, my intruments does not work, the turn signals, high beam and clock function ok, but the warning lights doesnt.
My car does NOT have a tach, so I supose that the white/red stripe wire has to be disconnected....right?
Fuses are ok, battery ok, car starts fine now.
Where to look now?
Or at least, bypass the charging circuit in a way that dont drain the battery. the alternator is brand new, so is the battery.
By the way, I ordered the small OEM tach.
Any diagnostic procedures for this? the Bentley manual only sratches this area.
