Check/reseat the little 3-wire odd-shaped connector that plugs to a small circuit board on the speedo unit. One of the 3 wires brings in +12V to the whole cluster with the Key On.

BLUE = +12V

GN-W and BLK come from the spedo sender on the diff cover.
