front brake job and the hassle of finding the right rotors ... caliper repair kit advice? 700 1989

Here in Hawaii all the auto parts store attempt to distinguish the proper rotor size by the size of ones wheels. 14" wheel is supposed to take 10.25 inch rotor
and 15" wheel take 11.25" rotors.

Not on mine. I have 15" wheels and 10.25 inch rotors.

I found new 11.25" Raybestos rotors @ $20 each that's when I discovered the size discrepency...

NAPA had the 10.25" ones for $46 each but they also do not work because they are too wide - at least 3/4 inch too wide

FCP Groton has ATE or Brembo rotors in 10.25 inch for $37 or $34.50
I hope they are the right width. Unfortunately shipping to Hawaii is $56 but we are used to it here...

Has anyone dealt with this width problem on 10.25" rotors or know if there is any quality difference between ATE and Brembo??

I bought the PBR deluxe pads as I have used them in the past on other cars and think they are great - no squeal, less dust, enhanced braking and long life...

Has anyone used the caliper repair kit / with new rubber seals and if so are they easy to install?? any advice?? What about the anti squeal shims and pins??

As always the brickboard is invaluable and I thank you for any help!!
