A Breath of Fresh Air... 120-130 1967

Hello All:

1967 Volvo 122S Wagon. What is wrong with us? Why do we insist on keeping things exactly as they always were? I do not know, but I have the disease and my present malady concerns those fat air filters for my B18D. I know, many of you have switched to the Oreo-cookie-like flat two-bolt filters but I am in the generator camp so that tells you how my mind works. Plus, what would I do with all of that extra space?

I know a few of you machinist-types have been working on a unit that allows one to change the paper element only. What is the status of that project? Might a pair be available in April sometime? Curious minds want to know.

In the meanwhile, if anyone knows where I could get a matched pair of the beasts (breather hose connection on the front filter, none on the rear) please let me know. Thanks.

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo
