Struts and shocks worn, now I think I'm beating the dickens out of my bushings. Right?

I've gradually been fixing/improving the suspension on my 94 945. 135K miles. Engine mounts, tie-rod ends, got tires balanced using the Hunter Engineering system (works a treat), center support bearing. With each fix, the car gets better and better. When I had the center support bearing done the mechanic said my right front strut insert was blown, left was leaking, rear shocks very tired.

Now I notice that when I go over bumps I feel more vibrations. I'm thinking the worn shocks are causing increased/accelerated wear and tear on my suspension bushings. Hence, i ought to get my struts and shocks replaced ASAP to reduce the wear on my bushings. Do you agree? Or are the worn shocks and struts a non-issue, relative to deterioration of the bushings?

Markus
