Sorry to bother you guys. I'm just starting to learn how to wrench on cars. I tried removing the fuel filter on the '95 960, and thought they were quick connects. Instead they look screwed on. I used a socket on the end, and an open wrench to counterhold on the filter itself. Somehow as I was loosening it, the central banjo connector rotated and damaged the rubber line connected to it. It formed cracks and started leaking fuel. i taped it up for now, but there's still a slow leak.
so I have a few questions.
1. How do I remove the filter without damaging the lines?
2. Is there a part # for the fuel line that runs from the filter to the engine? It doesn't look like a trivial replacement.
i hope i didn't wreak too much havoc on the car
thanks so much, you guys are the best.
