Will try to post a pic, but do those little vents (each of the two is about a foot long and about an inch wide) serve a particular vital function? I took them out and covered the piece of board they're in with carpet and would like to know do I HAVE TO cut all those little pieces of carpet out, or can I just throw out those "vents"?
