I drained my coolant today and was surprised to see that it's a greenish-blue. Not the expected blue color. I'm wondering if the former owner put something into it besides Volvo true-blue. Do you guys think that I should install a back flush kit and flush the entire engine to make sure that it's just Volvo coolant in it??
Also, can you guys tell me if your coolant is green or blue.... Maybe the original coolant in the car is green??? Thanks.

BTW, I took my S90 on a thousand mile trip this past week. Worked great! My gas mileage around town is about 21 Mpg, and on the highway I got 27 Mpg--not bad.
Anyways, I got back in town and continued to do catch up maintenance on the car. Replaced the fuel filer--which was a snap! I continue to be amazed at how easy it is to work on the S90. For instance, the fuel filter was at most a 30 minute job--which is great for a Volvo novice. Also, the fuel pump looks to be so easy to change. It's the first vehicle I've owned that you don't need to drop the gas tank to get to the pump.....
All that I have left for my catch up maintenance is: 1.) flush the transmission, do the rinse phase of my oil flush, then in a few thousand miles do the belts and water pump. After which, this car is ready for some serious mileage....
Best Regards,
Stan
