Hi all,

after lapping the valves on my B20F engine with Permatex (Devcon) multi-grade lapping-compound (120 to 240 grit) and testing the resulting seal with gasoline, I still get a little seapage.

Is testing the seal with gasoline rather than water, for example, overkill?

Is it also realistic to expect a perfect seal from a lapping job?
