I managed to mangle my strut assembly trying, mostly in vain to remove the gland nut (it looks like it was an original Volvo strut insert in there). Now I need a replacement strut assembly. I'm thinking that if I dismantle above the ball joint, I don't need to worry about the ABS sensor and that any year will work. The local wreckers compatability guide says only 91-93 will work. Any comments?
