I ordered these from my supplier the other day, were supposed to be Boge Turbo-Gas. What I got were two types of Sachs. Most of you probly know Boge and Sachs are both owned by ZF Trading, and are in thoery the same thing.
In the catalog part numbers match, 100659 and 106491 for front and rear respectively.
What gets me is the turbo-gas Sachs equivalent is Advantage, which the front one is, and made in Germany.
But the rear I got, which is made in Mexico, is the Super Touring.
Even though the part numbers match. If it's worth anything, it says gas charged on the strut, stamped in.
So do they not make a different stiffer rear shock? Do Sachs/Boge and/or every supplier I look up online have there numbers screwed up? Luckily they are easy to change, but still. I need to know.
