My 940T stalled while driving yesterday and would not restart. I had it towed to a nearby shop and the mechanic tells me that the fuel injectors seem to be stuck wide open. He said it flooded the cylinders and the turbo. He said that they were not stuck open mechanically, but due to some signal they were receiving.
I really would like to keep this car, but does this mean the ECU is bad? The mechanic is doing some more research as he isn't extremely familiar with volvos—especially of this age.
I've had a number of minor electrical issues over the years with relays and the ignition amplifier module.
I'd appreciate any help that might help me get my Volvo back on the road. Thanks.
