We swapped the motor into J's car today. We got the Simon's sport exhaust installed.

One question - there is a unique piece of hardware which looks like it is meant to support the system behind the header pipe, it's a ring type clamp and comes with a small bolt.

Where is it supposed to be attached to either the engine,(doesn't work with the stock bracket which is bolted to the 2 bellhousing bolts on the passenger side of the block), or the underside of the body (seems unlikely so close to the engine which requires freedom of movement, vibration, etc.)

So where does this clamp go?
