OIL LIGHT on a 1967 122s automatic

This baby is garaged all the time with 77,000...so it says when I bought it over 15 years ago. I take her out on nice days throughout the summer and springtime but in the winter I turn her on about 2x a week and let her run for over a half hour to keep the battery good and charged otherwise she won't have enough crank to turn over ( as I found out thru previous years and new batteries). Last year the battery light stayed on steady and we found out it was an oil switch, which I replaced and the light never came back on while running. Now, this winter when I had her out on the road I see the oil light flicker and big panic came over me, oh, no what now with the oil light. Of course I checked the oil stick and all is o.k...When I warmed it up in the garage after that run weeks later, the oil light flickers a little in the beginning then goes off....and stayed off aas it really warmed up. I am confused. Why would I see that light on at all as she warms up?? thanks, Lynn at chmtnbliss@cs.com
