OIL LIGHT on a 1967 122s automatic

Oil pressure switches are frequently NOT very reliable!
They have been the source of a lot of leaks on my cars, some in the middle of long trips.
Fortunately they are cheap and easily available!
It is normal for the oil pressure light to come on for a bit when you start the engine till the oil
system is full, especially if it has sat for a while and the oil has drained out of bearings, etc.
