Shaking all over (pt. 2) 120-130

About seven months ago I posted this thread re my 121 automatic:

There is nothing wrong as long as the car moves along, but when there is the need to stop, for instance for traffic lights, the whole car starts shaking as soon as it comes to a halt.

Most replies suggested that there could be something wrong with the torque converter or its mounting bolts. However recently I had to replace the complere BW35 for a reconditioned one and to my surprise and disappointment the shaking is still there. So I definitely will have to look for the cause in the engine, which is a B18A that has done appr. 170.000 M. It has a reasonable compression, a new 123 electric ignition installed and runs fine.

The degree of shaking is somewhat related to the speed of the car before I stop it. When I have driven 60 mph for a while, the shaking is worse than when I have driven 30 mph. Perhaps this gives someone a clue?
Also the shaking gets less worse after a few minutes of idling. After a cold start, it is completely absent.
