Actually stochiometric 120-130

Not to fault the suggested cause of the problem, but excess air will promote stochiometric combustion, the complete and sudden consumption of combustibles. This does occur in the presence of high excess O2, and causes high combustion temperatures, the very thing that causes overheating if the mixture is too lean.

Something to consider might be ignition timing at idle.
