I've been buying my Volvo parts from FCP Groton for years now. Lately it seems there are a lot of changes happening at FCP and I am not sure they are all for the better for us Volvo guys. Just recently I tried buying ignition wires from them and there is a really confusing thing on their site where two different Bougicord wore sets would seem to fit my car according to the item description. I called and was told to get one over the other, though no good reason was given. When I got the wires they were the wrong ones. When I called these guys in the past they were always very knowledgeable, but now it seems like they are staffed with script readers who know very little about cars in general and Volvos in particular.
Now I am shopping for brake rotors and usually they had a pretty wide selection of brands like Ate, Brembo, Zimmermann, Balo. Now all I see is Genuine Volvo (Ate?), which are expensive, Zimmermann cross-drilled which are also expensive and the other choices are some un-known brands like Pilenga and Nordic that seem to be a bit cheaper. I usually buy Brembo, Zimmermann or Ate for Volvo rotors and they seem to be about half the price of Ganuine Volvo ones, but now I am stumped. At least with FCP's selection.
Anyone else notice FCP's slide down into big inhuman online seller without any real value to offer?
