That's the noise coming from the engine compartment, along with the prerequisite valve noise, of course. It's a quiet noise but has been present for a while, never gets loud or squeaks. It could be the p/s pump, the alternator or the water pump which has about 50K on it... The belts all seem tight and lined up and I'm thinking of the worst case scenario, a 185 dollar harmonic balancer as a possible culprit. The engine has been feeling a bit "harsh" with a bit of vibration for a while too.... Any ideas?
